As an American EDPat (EDucation + exPATriate), I wholeheartedly embrace the power of international engagement. It all began with a transformative study abroad trip to South Africa in 2007, a pivotal moment that set me on the path of being a transnational commuter. The experience of truly immersing myself in a foreign culture opened my eyes to new possibilities and forever altered the course of my educational journey and career. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to call three continents home, working with diverse institutions both at home and abroad. Along the way, I have had the incredible opportunity to explore nearly 40 countries, each one adding to the rich tapestry of experiences that define my life. These blessings, universal and global in nature, have ignited a deep passion within me and continue to shape my life's calling. With gratitude and a sense of purpose, I eagerly embrace the boundless opportunities that lie ahead. Amen.
