Episode 32: Welcome to Season Three!
Salamo Alaykom, everybody!
Salamo Alaykom means peace be upon you and is a traditional way of saying “hello” in Arabic. It’s fitting for this welcome back message because I am in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, where I’ve been recording many of the episodes in Season Three. I’m here for a nine-month fellowship to collect data for my dissertation research project and I’ve been in such an interesting space! You can hear all about it in this introductory episode.
